Timeparts UV glue in a 10 ml container.
Timeparts UV glue is suitable for glass, plastic, and metal. Cure in sunlight or ultraviolet light. At least one of the bonded surfaces must be UV-transparent. Testing before use is recommended. Surface tension can negatively impact adhesive strength.
This glue is ideal for bonding watch glasses because it is not too thick and therefore flows easily into the edge where the glass is placed. It dries invisibly in sunlight or under a UV lamp without yellowing the edges, and the bond is exceptionally strong.
Make sure the parts to be bonded are clean and dry. For a finely dispensed solution, place a few drops in, for example, a watch battery container. Using a fine-tipped screwdriver or (old) oiler, apply a thin layer of glue to the edge where the watch glass will be placed. This way, this bottle of Timeparts UV glue will last a very long time.
This UV adhesive contains:
- Isobomyl acrylate.
- H 315 causes skin irritation.
- H 319 causes eye irritation.
- H 317 may cause an allergic skin reaction.
- H 335 may cause respiratory irritation.
- P 262 Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing.
- P 280 Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
- P 305+P 351+P 338 IF IN EYES, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses and continue rinsing if possible.
- P 302+P 352 IF ON SKIN, wash with plenty of soap and water.
- P 264 Wear respiratory protection.
- P 235+ P 410 Store in a cool, dark place.
