Environmentally friendly packaging/shipping

At Timeparts we have reduced the use of plastic by 90%. Instead of plastic bubble packaging material, we use tissue paper and corrugated cardboard so that after receiving your order you can put the packaging in the waste paper and recycle it.

We always pack small items in corrugated cardboard and (brown) paper bags for shipping. We then glue these to the packing slip as much as possible with glue (without solvents) so that shipping in a regular envelope as letterbox post is possible. It saves extra packaging material and shipping costs. This means that the item you buy is therefore cheaper. Instead of adhesive tape, we use biodegradable paper stickers with our name on it. Our shipping boxes are second-hand or made from recycled corrugated cardboard.

In some cases we still have to use a shipping envelope with bubble plastic because unfortunately there is no (affordable) alternative. We will continue to look into this and as soon as possible we will switch to a more environmentally friendly way of packaging. If you receive a product in a bubble wrap envelope, separate the paper and plastic from the envelope.
