RECHARGEABLE CAPACITORS FOR WATCHES

On this page original rechargeable capacitor cells for Casio, Citizen and Seiko watches with a Kinetic system or a solar cell in the dial.

Please make sure that you order the correct capacitor because we do not exchange ordered batteries. You will also not receive a refund if you order the wrong size, that is your own responsibility.

IMPORTANT:

If your watch uses light to charge, the new cell must be directly powered by light.

Place by the window: Place the watch near a window with the dial facing the sun.
Full charging time: Artificial light (LED/room light) works, but takes a very long time. Direct sunlight charges the watch reasonably well within a few hours.
Afterward, wear the watch all day and allow as much (sun)light as possible.
Start signal: Wait until the second hand jumps normally again (one second instead of every 2 seconds) before setting the time.

If your watch is powered by the movement of your arm, the internal rotor generates power directly for the new battery.

Manual shaking: Hold the watch in your hand and swing or move it back and forth rhythmically about 200 to 500 times. A watch winder is a good tool for charging the battery. Let the watch run for 1 day on the continuous setting.
Check the movement: As soon as the second hand moves at a regular rhythm of one second per tick, the battery has sufficient starting power.
Set the time and wear: Now set the correct time and date and wear the watch all day to fully charge the battery through your arm movements.
