In the current time where it is increasingly difficult to find a company where you can have (small) repairs to your watch or clock, it might be an idea to do things yourself.

With watches we talk about things such as installing a watch battery, new connecting pins between strap and watch, a new glass on your watch or installing a new watch strap. Clocks often involve a new pendulum spring, a new glass on your pendulum or a new cord in your comtoise. All jobs that you can do very well yourself.

These are just a few examples, in practice there are of course many more things you can do yourself. Of course, this also depends on what your experience is with working on watches or clocks.
